Rates & Policies
Rates per hour:
- Individual $165 per 50 min session
- Couples $200 per 60 min session
- More than 2 $250 per 90 minute session
Sliding-scale:
- Individual $130 per 50 minute session
- Couples $150 per 60 minute session
- More than 2 $200 per 90 minute session
All prices are subject to HST
Groups:
- $50/hour per person
Cancelation policy
Please give 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. If you cannot provide notice within a 24 hour time period, you may be charged a cancellation fee for the cost of your session/group attendance.
Fees can be paid at the beginning or end of the session and I accept cash, credit card payments or e-transfers.
Psychotherapy is sometimes covered by private insurance plans. In this case you would submit the receipts you receive from me following payment to your insurance company.
Psychotherapy is not currently covered by OHIP.
Confidentiality
You have the right to have your information be kept confidential. Your Consent to the Release of Information is required for your information to be shared. And yet, its important for me to let you know that there are limits to your right to confidentiality under the following circumstances:
- if a client reports physical or sexual abuse of a child.
- If a client is in danger of being seriously hurt or is likely to seriously hurt someone else,
- If a client threatens serious physical harm to himself/herself or to someone else.
- If a client reports serious misconduct of any registered health professional.
- If a client’s file is subpoenaed by the Courts.
In such cases, I will have a duty to inform or report.
